Event Details:

Strengthen your reading skills! Register for 15 minutes of reading aloud and 5 minutes of play with a therapy dog. Your child may bring their own book to read or come a few minutes early to choose a library book. If your child is able, we encourage them to attend this program on their own. Parents are free to wait in the Library. Registration is required.  *This program is also a great way to introduce children who are hesitant around animals to a trained therapy pet! 

Registration is closed. You may call the library to see if any spots fave opened up!

Accompanying Adult Not Required

Children and teens aged 6 and older may be left unattended at library activities, however we encourage parents to attend with children who may need additional assistance with the activity.

Come learn how to do a craft at the library, led by a staff member.  All materials are provided, and each participant goes home with something they made, as well as a new crafting skill.  Open to everyone aged 16+.

Come learn the art of quilling from local community member, LeAnn Ludwig.
