Stay busy at the Library during early dismissals. Virtual Reality, Nintendo Switch, and computers are available for play, as well as crafts and activities for kids in Meeting Room C/D and for teens on the Mezzanine. 

Songs, rhymes, books, and activities designed to be developmentally appropriate for ages 2-5, but any age is welcome to attend. 

Strengthen your reading skills! Register for 15 minutes of reading aloud and 5 minutes of play with a therapy dog. Your child may bring their own book to read or come a few minutes early to choose a library book. If your child is able, we encourage them to attend this program on their own. Parents are free to wait in the Library. Registration is required.  *This program is also a great way to introduce children who are hesitant around animals to a trained therapy pet! 

This ongoing series provides opportunities to learn about crafts, food, and gardening while also allowing for hands-on practice. 

Evening activities simple enough for your youngest, but fun enough for the whole family! Activities may include kitchen skills, art projects, games or storytime.

Unstructured time for children to socialize and play with a variety of toys and sensory items. All toys will be age appropriate for ages 0-3 but older children are welcome to attend.

Join us for this interactive cooking series where we will highlight delicious recipes from cookbooks in our collection. A library staff member will demonstrate how to make the dishes with patron participation. Supplies are provided and registration is required. 

Gather with fellow crocheters and knitters to work on your own project or start a new project. All experience levels are welcome. For those new to these hobbies we will provide supplies for you to use. We ask that more established crocheters and knitters bring their own supplies if able.
