Join us for this interactive cooking series where we will highlight delicious recipes from cookbooks in our collection. A library staff member will demonstrate how to make the dishes with patron participation. Supplies are provided and registration is required.
Satisfying Salads
Salads are very versatile and can be eaten as a side or a main dish. In this session, we will make two wonderful spring salads using fresh herbs and vegetables. Please join us for a spinach and strawberry salad (with home made herb vinaigrette) and an orzo salad with cucumber, red onion, and mint. We will be highlighting two cookbooks from our collection: The Complete Salad Cookbook (America's Test Kitchen) and Big Book of Salads (Cooking Light).
